Pre-hire and Promotion Assessments – When considering a potential employee or an individual for promotion, it helps to know who you have. Shadow Ridge has a host of assessments available that can be utilized to assist in the selection process. These assessments include:

Leadership Coaching – What is leadership? It has taken on an almost mystical quality conveyed in a statement like, “You’ll know it when you have it.” The questions facing many organizations is, “How can we get it? How can we find great leaders?” The answer is, you don’t find them, you develop them. Though it is true that certain personalities are more naturally inclined to lead, leadership, effective leadership is based upon fundamental skills.
Anyone can lead with the appropriate desire, skill development, and a passion to make a difference. Utilizing a series of assessments, we acquire a realistic understanding of who the person is, how they think, how they view the world, and what tools they have and what others need to be developed. Using the information provided by the assessments, we tailor training specific to the development of the necessary skills. The training utilizes proven principles, techniques, and information necessary for effective leadership.
Shadow Ridge offers 2 complimentary programs:
Fundamentals of Leadership Program (6 weeks)
Individually based Leadership Development Program (this can be a continuation of the Fundamentals of Leadership Program or a stand-alone)
Retirement Preparation Coaching – The data tells us that the average lifespan post-retirement is 19.5 years. Than number can vary dramatically depending upon the career of the individual (18 months-2 years for some career fields). The point being, we don’t know how much time we have. The data also tells us that the mental health numbers decrease (1 in 3 retired adults dealing with anxiety and/or depression compared to 1 in 4 adults).
Retirement presents a new life with new challenges that we would be wise to prepare for.
